Reese’s chocolate chip cookies.

We used mini Reese’s cups as chocolate chips in this yummy cookie recipe!

We took the general chocolate chip cookie recipe from the package of Redpath Golden Yellow Sugar, changed the sugar content slightly, and instead of chocolate chips, we used Reese’s mini cups! (& some crushed chocolate chip chunks)

Pre-heat oven to 375

In a large bowl, Cream Together

  • 1 c. butter (or margarine) with
  • 1/2 c. White sugar &
  • 3/4 c. Golden sugar (brown would work too)

Beat in

  • 1tsp vanilla extract with
  • 2 eggs

In a separate bowl, sift

  • 2 1/2 c. flour with
  • 1tsp baking soda and
  • 1tsp salt

Stir in chocolate chips or Reese minis into the flour mix. (The original recipe calls for 2 cups and we only had one bag of the Reese’s minis so we also added some crushed chocolate chunks. We could have used 2 bags of the minis. This way, each cookie got 1 pb cup with a couple of cookies getting 2.)

Add dry mix to wet mix and stir together.

Drop by heaping tbsp onto parchment lined baking sheets.

Bake 8-10 mins.

We used 2 trays. One on middle rack, one on bottom so we switched their places after baking 5 minutes and baked for 5 more minutes (totalling 10 minutes all together)

These were so yummy!
